He was born in Iskenderun in 1971. He graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine as a General Practitioner in 1996. He completed his specialist training in Orthopaedics and Traumatology at Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital in 2003. He was awarded the title of Associate Professor in 2015.
